Introducing……the CU Jedi Series

For those of you that know me, my loves in life are my family, credit unions, hockey, and Star Wars.

And I love to blog about them all.

A couple of weeks ago, I was privileged in being asked to speak at the Saskatchewan Young Leaders Conference in Saskatoon.  The theme of their conference was “Your Future is in Your Hands”, which was right up my alley as I believe over the past 3 years I have truly taken my career into my own hands. 

I shared with the group my experiences and the journey I have taken to become a credit union young leader, or what I like to call, a CU Jedi.  In the presentation, I provided 7 CU Jediisms that I learned along the way.

Taking a page from Bo McDonald’s highly successful Credit Unions and Dr. Seuss series posted on CU Insight, for the 2013 year I will be starting the “CU Jedi Series” where I will blog on characters from Star Wars and what credit union leaders can learn from them to become CU Jedi.
